I hate the terms emo, goth, et cetera. They've been distorted so much that their meanings depend on the person you ask, and more often than not these days have to do with style and dressing and such. I know a guy claiming to be emo and one claiming to be goth, and really they're both just crackheads (literally) and want to stand out.

That said, I, too, have been told I write some very emo poetry. I don't know exactly what classifies a poem as emo, but eh. If I can dig up one I'm not completely embarrassed to post, I'll return to this board. So, as the starter of this board, where's your emo writing, Lauren? :D

Um, no thanks, not posting the emo poems I used to write. They were horrible and embarrassing. Plus I'm not emo, I just have friends who are. But Lauren, the stuff you write is reeeally good, you should post it! Jk, I know you won't.

Yeah, I hate it too wait, I loathe it, people should stop classifying themselves. Oh, I thought we were all humans?
